01/Background

The short version

I’m a full-stack engineer and AI developer who enjoys building software that keeps working after the demo is over.

Over the past couple of years I’ve built a portfolio with retrieval-augmented semantic search over my own writing, an autonomous video generation pipeline orchestrated through n8n, a medical research assistant that fuses results from several academic databases, and a resume matching engine built on classical NLP.

On the AI side I work hands-on with language models, vector embeddings, retrieval pipelines and multi-API orchestration — wiring together providers like Gemini, Groq and Pinecone into systems that run end to end rather than demos that run once.

On the product side I build with React and Next.js on the front, Node, Flask and Django on the back, and PostgreSQL or MongoDB underneath. I care about clean architecture, observable systems and code the next engineer can read without me.

How I make decisions

01

Architecture over hype

Systems with clear boundaries, strict typing and production-grade error handling — not whichever stack is trending this quarter.

02

Deterministic AI

Language models are components, not magic. Structured outputs, validation, retries and traceable retrieval keep them honest.

03

Observable & maintainable

Structured logging, meaningful errors and self-documenting code so the system explains itself when something breaks.

04

Finish the last ten percent

Empty states, failure paths, mobile layouts and documentation are part of the work, not an optional follow-up.
